Explanation of the scores and standings

For an explanation of the standings grid, go to the FAQ folder.

Your e-mail will pretty much tell us who read this and who didn’t.  The scores that are posted during the week of a game are those we receive from the team reps.  It is not unusual to receive two or three different scores from a game from the same people who were actually participating in the game.  We post the first version.  The official result is what the referee reports in the game report submitted to the league.  The referee has seven days to submit the report to the paymaster who records it and forwards to the league.  We then true up the results, which will take about ten days from the date of the game.  So long as the winning team is correct, we aren’t going to change the score based on anything other than the referee report because it really doesn’t matter in the standings.  Yes, we realize your team wants the award for lowest GAA.  That’s why we true everything up to the referee report.  The awards aren’t given until the end of the spring season so there’s plenty of time to get it perfect on our end.
